Around The World Tour / Alexandra Theatre
March 14, 2012

Hello everyone,
Tis I, the Peter Noone aka Herman and I have a new laptop at last. My old laptop is now that. My old laptop. This is my new laptop and it is bigger and younger than my old one which is now owned by Damon Noone of Liverpool and no fixed abode. Sometimes it is necessary to give up everything in an old laptop and get a fresh new beginning and a new resentment too!

Lots of Brummy fans here in Birmingham and many of them have the “blue pen syndrome”. Take a look and see if you can spot a blue pen!

Peter saw you at Cheltenham Town Hall you were brilliant as usual but were you serious about not coming back for 9 years heres hoping you were joking xx
I’m glad to see you’re having a good time Peter! Sure wish I was there! Looks like lots of fun! Love your pics. they look great! Weather has been pretty warm in the 50′s, 60′s and even the 80′s here in Cincinnati, Ohio! I sure hope you come back here and play soon. I am comming to Niagra Falls to see you in July with my husband. We finally got our passports today. Have fun and keep playing that good music! Hope to see you soon!
Saw another fantastic show in Birmingham last night all the acts were great but there is no doubt who was the star of the show the, biggest round of applause was definitely saved for you,Peter and again you delevered a superb performance ,having seen you in the States it’s so good to see you wowing the audiences back home in th UK as much as you do in America can’t wait to see you in Stoke April 4th
Fantastic show in Brum! My own website has loads of 60s music info plus links to Flying Music whose Solid Silver Sixties shows really fill the demand for us baby boomers plus the younger generations who prefer our kind of music.
I dont see a similar show some 50 years on and featuring the likes of Jedward, rappers, or any X Factor karaoke wannabes!!!
Nice to see that you featured your ‘favourite’ Hermans Hermits song last night….er…which one was it now…
Very good show and I bet that Vanity Fayre sleep solidly every night- what an amazing hard working group, apart from own set.
Last met you a few years ago in Wolverhampton as my pal Dave Maggs has been drumming with the Troggs for many years- we were in a 1966 band as you probably know? Check my website for stacks of 60s music bits as my group years were 64-72 before going solo with a comedy/vocal act but I still perform 60s music gigs plus organise ‘reunion’ shows.
Good luck with the rest of the tour and I’ll add a report to my current blog 2012.
Happy you were able to get new laptop. Mine had a meltdown too. Trying to get my son to look at it. He’s a wiz with computers. He says he’s too busy. May have to buy a new one. Fortunately, I have a spare that works ok for me. So, which is better, Apple or IBM.
saw solid 60s show last night at alex birmingham, great show xxx
Peter, are you traveling England in one of those fancy tour buses or a car?
I learned a new word today – brummy! Looks like some fun fans waiting for a little action, the lady is giggling so I bet she’s a Noonatic. Are you sure you didn’t add those pens with a some fancy photo editing on the new laptop?? Keep on having a wonderful tour!
Blue pens….must be a fad.
I’m wondering who took the picture from the car. Was it you? Everyone is smiling so I bet it is!
Whoa! Must have been a sale on blue pens today! Better hurry and sign those autographs, Peter/Herman, ’cause I see a “No Waiting” sign and I think the bobbies are coming!! (and maybe one Billy) :) It’s so much fun to see pictures from the UK–thanks for taking time to do that for us! You Rock!
Black ink, medium, Bic ballpoint, the preferred pen of frogs everywhere.
Blue pens are good to colour sea, fine to colour sky when flying high, or sitting in the downs to colour feeling down, but when it comes to my bottom line, black suits me fine.
Modern birds, with delight squeal, knowing man no longer grabs a quill.
From various comments I’ve read, it seems like quite a bit of time has passed since you last toured the UK (was the top picture taken during that last tour?) Anyway, looks like you arrived at the theater in the nick of time, as it appears that the woman in the lavender jacket mistook the gentleman next to her for you and was asking for his autograph . . . an understandable mistake, given the number of years since she probably last saw you! (Please don’t let that amount of time lapse before your next visit to Georgia!)
Peter, so glad you’re there. Have you have come across my ‘luv note’ from Wayne yet?
Did you see my friend Jim there tonight (In Birmingham?)
Congrats on getting another computer. It is better to give…(glad Damon got it!)
Now about those pens, I quickly saw 1 blue one, oh yeah, I see a purple one…I need an eye check, it’s long overdue–to be able to tell what’s what!
Now that’s a funny picture of all those people waiting by a No Waiting sign….
and obviously prepared with pens, notebooks and cameras. I wonder how many autographs they’ve collected from just your average pedestrian walking on thru posing as a celeb? That might be a good bit of fun to try. The prospect of it has given me my evening chuckle. <>
Glad you have your new laptop up and running, and your brother got the hand-me-down one. I see the blue pens as well! Looking forward to reading more of your adventures on the road.
Those folks seem to be all looking at the back side of that sign… no waiting… no loading… no unloading… I love it that you’re posting about your adventures and very happy that you got a new Mac in the land of Apple. :)
Thank you for keeping us up to date with your UK adventures! I check each day to see what is new. Bet your fans there are loving your concerts!
So glad you got your new laptop & are BACK! Looking forward to reading about your travels. Spotted those blue pens too!
I’ve been out of the country, too (not UK but the Caribbean) and I’m having fun catching up on all that you’ve been up to across the pond. Happy to hear that you have a new, younger laptop so that we can keep up with all of your adventures. Soooooo good to hear from you! I see many blue pens – do I get a prize? (ha)
I saw a blue pen! Did the guy with the camera take a picture of you, too? I love new laptops (except for the the fact that every time I get one, I break a leg – literally). I am so enjoying the pics and reviews being posted about the UK shows. Glad you are having a fab time.
I see 3blue pens. I also see black and BLUE totes, and a black and BLUE jacket.
I counted 4. :)
Glad your new laptop is up running! glad to hear the tour is going well! I spot a few blue pens, lots waiting for our pop tart!
see ya soon
I spy at least 3…wonder what they thought when you took their picture.
That’s the spirit! Give those hand-me-downs to little brother!
Out with the old, in with the Noone!
Your U.K. tour seems to be going great. Glad you have a new laptop. A year or so ago I had so many viruses on my computer i had to get a new laptop. Glad to hear from you.
