Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone

Around The World Tour / Mobberley Lancashire

22 degrees and eating outdoors  in March is fun and fitting for a famous local gent, who is also parked on a double yellow line to see what happens. I ate the pie with my friends Keith Hopwood,Roy Bergin, Robin Arnold and we all got sunburned, and if you are ever anywhere near Mobberley promise me that you will go to this place!

I love the blue skies. But I have to ask – don’t they drive on the right in England and did the driver take that picture while driving? (tee hee hee) It looks lovely though – wish I was there!

Honestly Peter, I don’t know how you do it! I get worn out just looking at your tour schedule. Take care!

Ahh…there beneath the blue suburban skies…I’ll bet there’s a firestation and barber nearby that lane. Penny for your thoughts about the best pub pie to purchase?

Sounds as if you haven’t been feeling as well as you might lately . . . . which is never fun under the best of circumstances; however, being away from home, on the road and forced to uproot yourself daily, not to mention the responsibility of headlining a show and entertaining crowds nightly must only serve to prolong the misery of a flu or bad cold. Hope you’re well on your way to complete recovery and feeling much better. I certainly miss your posts.

Hmmm . . . sunburns all around on a 70 degree (Fahrenheit) afternoon — must be those pale, Brit, clotted-creme complexions! Guess global warming does have its upside! It sounds (and looks) like you’re having a lot of fun and are managing to find all the really charming little spots all around the country. What’s more, I’m so glad you decided to use “real” pictures today; so that we, home-bound (in the US), can keep up with you. By the way, its Spring and Georgia is awash in blooms (and about 10 degrees warmer) . . . . you might like to stop here upon your return to the US.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day off with friends. Any picture of Keith and you?

I took a tour online of The Bulls Head and got a kick out of this about their parking. There’s even a picture of those double yellow lines.

Bear in mind we have 6 car parking spaces so getting here early is important. There are double yellow lines outside the front of the pub so please avoid parking on these. These are to allow easy access up Damson Lane for Milk waggons to collect from our neighbours farm late at night. Cheshire Police do ticket cars parking on this part of the lane.

Thank you, Nanci! What a charming place this is! They even tithe 10% for every pint of Wobberly ale sold! LOL! :)

Tell your friend Keith I have sure been enjoying your old tunes. You guys are really just a year old for me. I discovered you when I took mom to one of your concerts a year ago. Been a lot of fun bouncing around the years with you guys. Don’t get to do that with J. Bieber. lol!
