Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone

Around The World Tour / Reading Berkshire

Me and Lancealoone (my trusted swarth) riding through Berkshire near Windsor Castle today.

The sun came out today, and stayed out all day, until about an hour ago, when it suddenly went behind a house near Reading just as Lancel and I rode past, causing the horses to stop cantering and to gallop all the way home.

It would appear that jousting fell out of favour in 1559, when Henri II had an unfortunate accident during a 3 day tournament to celebrate 2 weddings. His opponent’s lance lifted his helmet visor, piercing his right eye and coming out his ear!! Sounds gruesome, aye! He died 10 days later. Apparently his opponent was a Scottsman!

What kind of pie did you have? Apple, cherry, blueberry? Please, the next time you see Keith, give him hugs ‘n’ kisses from me (that goes for Karl as well)

We all (I especially) miss you here in Las Vegas!! You have no concert scheduled for May at the Cannery or Sept. at the Cannery! What is up with that?
I see you are enjoying England, though.

The letter F has stpemud me. Family, friends and fun are all words that came immediately to mind. They are words that are huge..I had to put on my thinking cap for this one.Faithful is a word that I would use to describe myself. If I were anymore faithful, I’d be a dog.Fair is what I try to be. Fair in my decisions, fair in my work, fair in my relationships with people.Frugal or frivolous? At times both.so those don’t count.Fear-I’m trying to be less fearful because there’s no point to scaring myself out of living life to the fullest.Faithful? Absolutely. Your love and devotion to ~m and your girls would be evident to blind Freddy, and that’s a good thing. Many are not faithful and at a cost to other people’s feelings.Fair is also quite accurate too I think, knowing you as I do.When you say fear my immediate thought is mouse, so I’m probably best leaving that one alone do you think??? Lancealoone and Peter Noone went riding one bright day.
They rode near Windsor Castle with their horses going “Neigh”!
    The sun went down
    In Reading town
Then home they galloped all the way.

    (Oh well. LOL!)

Glad you found your trusty steed in Merry Olde England. Did you teach Lancel the Herman dance that you did in “hold On”?

Are you writing historical romance novels in your spare time? Ideal setting and lovely knights on their trusty steeds. You are a crack up!

Wasn’t Reading Gaol a prison much feared by Irish revolutionaries and some homosexuals? You should record an album of your concert there and bill it as a sort of long-awaited follow-up to Johnny Cash’s Concert at Folsom Prison album! By combining both the Johnny Cash and prison for homosexuals (Oscar Wilde comes to mind) themes, you might just find a nice marketing niche with the American GOP in this election year as campaign songs (especially as most other musicians tend to sue to stop their songs from being utilized by such candidates)!

I won’t be galloping or walking for quite sometime. This being dependent on others for everything is really difficult. Sorry I will miss the trip, but I am sure Mo and Jana will find lots of trouble to get into without me. Hopefully, I will be mended by May to attend the show in Tulsa! Hard to keep a Flossy down!!!

It means grassy turf, which doesn’t make sense. The Old English meaning is skin or rind. Maybe it’s slang for friend?

I figured it was some type of slang word or England talk. I love the words they us when speaking. It keeps us all wondering what he is saying or mean. Thanks for telling me Becky
