Around The World Tour / Worthing
March 15, 2012

Peter and pewter but no computer.
Had a lovely sunny day with much walking (walkeees) and chatting with friends about all that is good and wonderful about life in general.
Goffs Park is but a short 40 miles drive to Worthing which is a glamorous English resort town full of glamorous English people who love 60s music and so do I!
Spent a fun few hours there, and now I am back in Goffs Park at the Manor, with a short 40 miles drive to ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS where I fully expect another sold out concert tomorrow night. Hope you are having a larf wherever you are right now dearie?

Hello Peter,
So nice to see you taking a break from your incredibly hectic schedule. Thank you for taking the time out to keep us informed! I get the impression coffee tastes better in a pewter cup. Do take good care of yourself. Best wishes to you and your family. If the fates are willing, I’ll see you in May!
I have never been without a computer or communication for a week before. But i just got back from a mission trip and had no computer or communication and right now I feel totally lost with every one. But I am sure it won’t take long. I love all the Pictures and your Postings You look so relaxed in that picture. Thank you so much for keeping us updated.
Right now I am enjoying 80° weather in Minnesota (March 18??), watching you perform on PBS and remembering the first song I ever performed in public when I was 10 (“Mrs. Brown…”). Remembering when you were here in MN years ago
on a bill with Chuck Berry and my ex-husband was backing him. You were vocalizing in the next dressing room and I remember being impressed with your professionalism and talent. Wish he’d been in your band. Thanks for the wonderful memories and good times!
…add a few logs on the fire for the pooch to cozy up to…a piano in the corner for “Oh Mr. Porter” and such…I’d say that’s a good place to be! (Maybe a big screen in the next room for the game). Say Peter, they say that dogs are man’s best friend, what’s your take?
In America the dead animals on the wall are bigger.
How true! Linda/Cookie
Now ladies, we mustn’t let that ole “bigger is better” syndrome spoil our enjoyment (of Peter’s adventures)!
Pretty pewter Peter!
I am enjoying myself in sunny ‘ol Littleton, Colorado right now. 766 miles drive from North Las Vegas…….No snow on the roads on I-70, so it was smooth sailing….or driving.
Of course, we got our computer with us, and no pewter.
I’m glad to see you’re relaxing a bit before you head to the next venue.
It sounds like you and the other performers are having fun and enjoying the audiences across the pond! That’s such a nice photo of you at the rustic pub.
Cheers!
Peter, you do make me larf and it sounds like you are enjoying England, the glamourous fans, and whatever you were drinking out of the pewter mug :-)
larfing here! thinking laptop is hiding under your shirt! ooops!
LOL! You may be right Dor!
Make new friends, but keep the old,
One is silver, the other gold.
Mugs, however, are usually pewter.
Cheers, to you too, Sir!
I love the rustic atmosphere! Reminds me of a camping lodge! Worthing seems wirth the drive!
(worth – not werth. “Werth” would be the wrong accent, too! LOL!)
Oh Dear! Worth, wirth, werth! Maybe I should just stop posting!
Looks simply lovely! Does Starbucks taste any differently when drunk out of pewter rather than paper? You look to be carefree and having a “larf;” are all those little “deeries” hanging out with you “larfing” along? You seem the epitome of an English country gentleman and the picture oozes masculine charm (its just missing the rifle propped against the back wall). Fun!
Nice pic, Peter, sounds like you’re having a fab time! Linda/Cookie
Pewter Newn, perhaps?
You are amazing Wyman! Gave me quite a good larf tonight…thanks.
Yes, that was clever. I wish I could ERASE my post! The more I tried to fix it, the worse it got! I’m embarrassed by it. :(
