All the way to Epcot
May 9, 2012

It is true! I flew from Edinburgh to London to Los Angeles and then to St. Babs, and I am back home and ready to get back to Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone and my fellow Hermits Rich Spina, Vance Brescia, Dave Ferarra and Billy Sullivan. I have missed them and you too!

Peter, when are you coming back to Las Vegas? or Primm? We haven’t seen you since September, 2011!
Peter, I want to thank you so much for the awesome show in Manistee on Friday, we had so much fun and I felt so lucky to be part of the Henry 8th routine, it was fantastic!
And, I want to thank you also for signing my little notebook, and my T-shirt and for the hand shake! You are such a gentleman and good soul!
Hope to see you soon again!
Love,
Andrea, etc.
Thanks again Peter! The concert in Newark was so much fun!
Peter! I was a sailor stationed in Honolulu, HI, and was new, homesick, and about 22 years old; I was sitting in the old International Market in Waikiki, and almost nobody was in this small outdoor cafe but me. I was surprised to see someone familiar sitting with his wife at another table – it was YOU! I was so surprised! I decided to give you some privacy, even when your lady went off shopping but it was fun to sit there seeing you. I knew I had a great story to tell my shipmates later, and they would ask me all about what you were doing – so when you two left I casually walked behind you a couple of blocks so I would have something to tell! You and the lady ducked into a shop and stayed a long time. I nearly left, but wanted to to have a good story for my friends so I waited. Suddenly, you both bolted out the door as a cab swung up and you got in, then both stared at me through the window as the cab drove off. I must say, I felt like a stalker or something, and just wanted to sink into the pavement and die. I never did tell my friends I had seen you – and felt even more homesick and alone that ever. There was never any way to say to you, I was just a young sailor a long way from home and saw a celebrity who music I loved and… well, no way to tell you how embarrassed I was that day – or how it made me feel. Later I worked in films and tv for ten years and understood how some celebrities view fans, and why. Not all fans are good heated people and neither are all celebrities.
David, you probably would have had a great story to tell your shipmates if you had approached Peter. Telling him your story, I am sure he would not have minded the “interruption”. Better than you probably scaring the crap out him stalking!!!
Glad to see you back in the States. However still hoping to see you at the Lorton Workhouse!
Hopefully you are on your way to the tip our our mitten-shaped state now. Welcome back to Michigan – see you soon!
they were all great!!!!!!!
Every time i go to chat room, its from March this year.

Andrea
Its been broken for a while now.
Thank You!
I will see you this Friday in Manistee! I am beside myself, only a few mins. from my house! Once in a life time!
Love you and thank you for coming to Michigan!!
Andrea
Larry,I’m sorry for your dismissal. You are a vaulable messenger. On another note, I am puzzled by your claim, Today the JPost refuses to publish my reply – but yesterday, it agreed. The JPost agreed with a caveat: so long, of course, as it is acceptable to the editor and not harmful toward our readers. Apparently, it was not acceptable to the editor. Your headline reminds me how Palestinian supporters twist an obvious conditional opportunity: Resolves that the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbours should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date into the so-called Right of Return. As for engelo’s misunderstanding of free speech no private entity is required to give you a platform from which to speak. No one can force the JPost into publishing anything it deems unfit. However, the government is required to allow the platform to be built, and, in most cases, it can not prohibit the publishing of speech.
Welcome back!! Hope to see you and the Hermits in Ft Wayne.
Six great shows so far! I’m still amazed that you sang “Jezebel” yesterday. Looking forward to 3 more shows today!
Peter,
It must have been fun to go back to England to perform there and see your family. You always seem to have the best time wherever you are. I’m glad you are back in the US and I hope to see you sometime this year.
You will be in my hometown, Tulsa, later this month. Wish I could be there perhaps another year.
Enjoyed all the updates and pictures while you were gone. Nancy

Think you might be a little glib in your usage of “miss you” . . . . I don’t think you miss “me” all that much, as I don’t see a single Atlanta area date on your concert schedule. Come on, surely you can “take the South”!
LOVED hearing the UK hits but sure missed the Henry VIII singalong and a couple of others. See you in Newark.
Glad your back! Sounds like you might have spent a long time on that plane. Have fun at Epcot. Wished I could go. Maybe one day I can. :)
