Just saw Peter Noone at the Stafford Centre. Thank you for a fantastic evening of music and humor. Hope you come back next year. I was born in the mid-50′s and didn’t have the money to ever see the whole group in concert. This was a dream come true opportunity for my husband and I. Thanks for continuing your music. You still have what it takes! Don’t really understand why you weren’t included in the Queen’s Jubilee. Your music is so beautiful. My favorite song tonight was “End of the World.” Thank you for coming to the Stafford Centre.
I love Black and White too especially always seeing you in your Black or Grey Suit with your White Shirt. You always look so handsome and well groomed. So will you be wearing your suit at tower MN this weekend?
This reminds me of the time you did a concert in Jackson, Michigan and there was a Linda McCartney art exhibit the day before. It was great seeing her pictures up close and you were there too! Then on the day of the concert they had a special “Noonatic” dinner especially planned for us… and they made us feel so special! It was my boss’s home town and he and his wife attended the concert. It was one of my most memorable concerts.
Sigh . . . Peter, it would be so much more fun if you put a little something of yourself into this site, as you used to. Only 15 comments, from responders, in 3 days (fully a third of which were mine), I don’t believe is up to your usual response rate. Okay, you are not technically closing down this site but you do seem to be, in effect, ignoring it! I guess I (and the few other die hard responders) are just being obtuse and slow to pick up on obvious clues . . . . Again, your facebook site is wonderful but . . . . actually, come to think of it, you haven’t been responding to comments on that site lately either . . . . maybe you’re just taking a breather??
I must come to the defense of Mr. Noone. The fact is he is limited, like the rest of us, to 24 hours in a day. And in those hours must determine his priorities, be they business, family, or pleasure. Due to its popularity, I don’t blame him for paying more attention to Facebook, than this site. If you are marketing Herman’s Hermits staring Peter Noone, you pay attention to where the most people are.
I’m a small business person, and sometimes there are days or months where there just isn’t enough time for everything. You have to pick and choose.
I’m related to someone famous, and you see the demands on their time
that us ordinary people can’t fathom….requests for charity events, media interviews, legal issues, and travel time. That’s why when I see famous people I leave them alone, or discuss something not related to their fame. (except for politicans, they are fair game).
Well, Peter, it seems you do inspire intense loyalty from the people who frequent this site . . . . . maybe I will take Shelagh’s advice and give you a breather.
The City of Alpharetta, GA has outlawed “puking” — either in public or private . . . . so, you’re safe to put as much of yourself out here as you’d like without the risk of MY puking, anyway!! Maybe I’m just waiting for you to conquer the 3D aspect — so you’ll pop right out of my computer screen!
Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our lives….
Anyway, that is a nice photo of a very handsome young man…Linda McCartney..Rest in Peace.
Either you adhere to the old adage that “A picture’s worth a thousand words” or you’ve grown up to become the “strong, silent type”!! Anyway, that was apparently Linda Before Paul . . . . were you a “conquest” of her’s (from what I’ve read, a fairly common denouement of her rock photo sessions) or simply a willing photo subject?? Some commentary might liven up the sweet, cherubic picture . . . . or should we just let our imagination run wild??
Oh, damn, on further thought . . . . if her name was Linda “McCartney” when she took this photo (and not Eastman) . . . . I guess it was NOT Linda BEFORE Paul . . . so, there go all my attempts to enliven the events surrounding this photo . . . .
By the way, in that latest Insta-Pic you’ve just posted, you DO look beautifully slim!! Maybe you should have posted a current picture for us to rhapsodize over rather than an ancient one . . . . tho, come to think of it, I guess Linda McCartney wouldn’t have been there to add reason for speculation . . .
Great photo. That must bring back a lot of good memories. I often think of the good ole days. Your songs and concerts remind me of those days. Got to see you soone.

Any more of “myself” in this site would cause many people to puke. The site is ALL me!
