From the same era as the Hermits, loved Peter Noone so much, I traded 3 Beatles Albums for one of his, what a mistake, the Beatles albums, if I still had them them are worth mucho bucks. The Herman Hermits, zip. Oh, well, still loved their songs.

I really enjoyed the show on Saturday night. I have been to three now and this one was the best. The dancing man was a hoot. By the way I am the one who asked if you were lost in the hallway by the gift shop. You were right I did enjoy the show very much.

Saw the show at the IP last night! Took 3 friends, and they didn’t talk much about the concert beforehand. On the 8 hour drive home to Houston, all they could talk about is the show and how they could plan for the next roadtrip. They now understand the Whirled of Peter. Got to meet Vance, what a nice gentleman. Had the very best time of fun.

Peter, you have made special connections with so many “fabulous and unusual” regions in your travels…no doubt a result of the personal attention you share with your fans and a very sharp memory.
Any advice for helping me “connect” with the region in my house known as the frig so that I will remember to bring my lunch to work? I forgot twice last week!
And yes, I did hit the big 40 a few years ago.

I was not able to attend the Biloxi show last evening. I gave my tickets to the neighbors, along with $ 20.00 for gas money. I have a voice mail this morning from them left at 2 A.M. ranting and raving about how good the show was. At the end of the voice mail was a short comment that they also won $ 1,000 at the casino. Seems seeing Peter Noone was more exciting than winning $ 1,000.

AND some McDonald’s have been known to play Herman’s Hermits songs every once in a while so it’s a good place to hang out if you’re so inclined!

But don’t get the wrong idea!
I am an artist and CORPORATE GREED is destroying our world……..particularily for
us underdogs. No need to diet now……just try
buying groceries on a limited budget here in Alberta…….the booming oil province …….booming for who? I NEVER eat out and only go to MacD’s when their coffee is either free or a dollar/iced coffee!

Sorry to throw this question into your blog area, Peter; but I just went into your Fan Club section and there’s nowhere to post a question, so . . . . . what if I wish to join your fan club as a lifetime member but do not wish to receive any of the goodies you offer with that membership except the ability to attend Noonefest and any other concerts/events I may wish to (however no free tickets) at club member prices and have you put as much of my membership fee as possible into your charitable foundation? This would certainly help to overcome my innate resistance to joining a fan club and I’d be able to feel that I was doing the tiniest bit of good. Sincerely hope this is a possibility.

      But it sounds like you’re
      becoming a NOONATIC!
      (This is a good thing!;)

By the way, I often say things without thinking them through thoroughly . . . . but, I definitely think this small amount would fall well below any minimums which might imply legal complications . . . and, besides, this is a membership, from which I am deriving benefit. And, some of the fee would have to be used administratively, to add my name to your roll books . . . so the amount should be well under $100!

Also, obviously, I wouldn’t claim any charitable deductions for this amount (besides, I’ve never successfully itemized on my tax returns yet!) and would be happy to sign a statement to that effect for you.

This must have been a long, complicated flight — bet you could have flown to London with less effort!! I got a kick out of that picture of you at LAX, in front of one of my favorite (maybe I’m overstating a bit) restaurants (I can’t believe I’m admitting this!) — their food is decent and the restaurant is completely The Jetsons!! — just a small bright spot in what has become quite a dreary airport. Anyway, cute idea of documenting your flight(s) and I hope the balmy breezes and languid atmosphere of the Gulf Coast help to make your stay much more pleasant than the trip it took to get there!

Back to those snaps of your trip . . . . I really like the one you took in MacDonalds (you have a nice longish neck) . . . . . however, regarding your surroundings — remember your song “No Milk Today”? Well, I think you’ll find that applies to their “milkshakes” Thought you were concerned with maintaining your health??

I would love to come to Biloxi to see you in concert! The only time I’ve ever been there was when I was about 9. We drove through Biloxi on a vacation to Florida. Lovely place. I remember back then their were large old mansions along the coast line with beautiful big trees with live moss hanging from them.

See you at a concert soone!

Okay, now I’m feeling remorseful because I didn’t make more of an effort to attend this concert. At the same time, I see you’ve firmed up your plans for Noonefest . . . . in the same state. What if I’m not a club member, can I still buy a ticket and attend a concert???

How funny. Love your pictures. I am going to save up and go to one of your concerts in the neat future soon if I have to go myself. :)

You know, out of all the guys of the ’60s British Invasion you seem to have held up the best in looks. What’s your secret?? That fountain of youth must be in your backyard. Maybe you can bottle up some of that water sell it to us at concerts for 50 cents a bottle :)

Ida I learned a long time ago not to hesitate to go to a concert by myself. Sometimes when you go to order 1 ticket, even in an almost-sold out venue, you can end up in a great front orchestra seat! And at any HHSPN concert you will always find plenty of noonatics once you get there!

I have done the one ticket thing last minute on business trips and I have always had a seat in the first few rows.

That’s great! Mom usually comes with me but she is going to start chemo not sure how that will effect her. Plus I am going through a divorce so that leaves that out. I have a few noonatic friends on facebook that I met through this site. I think I will join the yearly peter noone fan club. My counselar told me joining interest groups is good therapy. :)

Sooo, I was really hoping I could join “ya’ll” down there, and maybe even take a birthday boat ride out to Ship Island, but alas! It is not to be. Oh well…I will look forward to the reviews and the videos of you doing and playing your best work there! (I HOPE there will be videos!) I’ll see you in Uniontown!
