I just came back from the hospital. My Mom had to have half of her left finger amputed. The doctor may have to take the rest of it if it doesn't get better. She also has MRSA again. She was doing okay considering what she went through. We'll see tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your prayers. Linda/Cookie

Thanks everyone! She's still in the hospital, we'll have to see about therapy and maybe reconstuction down the road. It's day by day now. Linda/Cookie

Hi everyone, quick update. My mom's still in the hospital, it seems she's on the mend. The hand surgeon came when I was there and was pleased with her finger so I'm hoping they don't have to amputate any more. Thanks everyone for your prayers, they help! Linda/Cookie

Thanks everyone. She went home a few days ago but has to stay on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks so we'll see how it goes. Linda/Cookie
