First off, words can not explain how awesome last night was, but in words I will try to sum all of it up.
Of course, my story starts with arriving at the Star Plaza Theatre. I used my lifer tickets, which the people at the willcall window said they didn’t have. Haha. But then they realized they did, but I was just listed as an “artist guest”. So then I get inside and go to the souvenier booth, and Jana says that Peter’s not there yet, so I wait a while for him. Finally, he gets there. Jana takes me and my guest, my friend Casey, back to Peter’s dressing room. First off, i’ll say that the whole thing was just so awesome, that I completely forgot to take any pictures at all. I kind of regret that, but at the same time, it gave us more time to talk. It was, Me, my guest, Peter, and Billy. Rich came in for about 2 minutes and said hi and everything also. We talked for about 10 minutes about many different topics, ranging from The Grass Roots, to Liverpool, to how bad drugs are. There are many other things discussed but to just list all of them would take up half this story. It was awesome to hear his point of view on things, and it really opened my eyes to new opinions on certain topics. The whole time I was back there he was signing shirts mostly, but that didn’t stop him from carrying on a full conversation with me and my guest the whole time. Finally, I started to feel like I had overstayed my welcome, so I said that I knew he had things to be doing and that we would go now. The backstage event was over, but the best HHSPN concert ever hadn’t even started yet.
First, came The Grass Roots. No offense to them, but I did not enjoy this very much because Rob Grill is not there, and none of the members are original. Second, came The Buckinghams. The Buckinghams played a great show as always. Lastly, of course was HHSPN. This show was phenomenal. Although Vance was not there, his replacement was superb, and the acoustics in the Star Plaza Theatre made it sound soooo good. He played the first few usual songs, then got into his routine of impressions, which were hilarious and filled with what seemed like extra energy tonight, which was awesome. He did Jumpin’ Jack Flash for a change, which sounded great. Then did some more hits of HH’s and then all of a sudden was the moment that impressed me the most. All of the sudden he is on stage, in front of this 3400 seat audience, and says “This song is for you Conor. Conor wanted us to do A Dave Clark Five song, so here it is. Conor’s a lifetime member, I told him if he dies he’s out.” hahaha. I thought that was so amusing and just awesome, that he would do this for me. So then he said he was actually going to do Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat, and then the crowd kindve jeered and he changed his mind, and did Because, by The Dave Clark Five. This was just awesome. I can’t explain how happy that he actually took time out of his concert to talk to the crowd about me. But enough with that part of the story. The rest of the concert was amazing. I had row F seats, but I couldn’t help but run up to the front of the stage for Henry the 8th, and dance and sing. Then There’s a Kind of Hush came on, and the concert was over. But of course I went out into the autograph line, and talked to him, and thanked him for that, and told him that I would see him in Florida. This was a great night, and I owe it to Peter Noone and all the awesome people that work for the Peter Noone fan club, and all the awesome fans in the fan club.
